NEW YEAR CHEER!!

The Friends of the Bridport Museum are presenting an evening of NEW YEAR CHEER to ward off those post-Christmas blues. An Evening of Traditional Dorset Entertainment with Christine Prideaux and Friends including music and readings will be on Wednesday evening, the 16th January at 7.30 pm at the Bridort Town Hall. This was well-supported last year and we look forward to raising funds for the Museum with this important, festive event.

Admission £5 adults, £2.50 Children. ALL WELCOME
Includes mulled wine or a soft drink and mince pies.

Wednesday 13 February 2008 – 19th Century Costumes at 2.30 pm – A talk by Penelope Ruddock, who has spent years in the costume conservation field. She dates photographs by determining the age of the clothing people are wearing. The Town Hall, £3 public and £2.50 Friends.

Wednesday, 12 March 2008--Rivers and Bridges in Dorset at 7.30 pm - An illustrated talk by Bernard Paull, which has changed from the 23rd Jan original date. The Town Hall , £3 public and £2.50 Friends. NOTE--evening talk, not afternoon.
