NATURAL HISTORY
This collection comprises a number of artefacts of local herbaria, birds' eggs, Lepidoptera, birds and mammals, as well as one collection of foreign shells. The Hutton Collection bequeathed 250 cases of specimens, both native and foreign and is fully supported by archive material. Reverend Hutton, the rector of Loders, shot many of the specimens himself before having them stuffed by taxidermists.
