Museum curator, Alice Martin says.."As more and more of us are able to take pictures, with anything from traditional film cameras right through to our mobile phones, there is a great opportunity for all of us to capture the essence of Bridport the way we see it, for future generations to enjoy.”

Prizes will be awarded in two categories, aged 17 and under, and over 17 years and a third category for photos taken with mobile phones open to all ages.. Competition is open from now until July 15th, 2009.

For full rules of entry and application forms please visit www.bridportmuseum.co.uk

Application forms can also be collected from Bridport Museum, South Street.

Images should be taken in and around Bridport and West Bay area, but mostly should be a reflection of how you see your town! And remember, this is a family competition and exhibition so photographs which are felt unsuitable for family viewing will not be accepted.

So go out, be as creative as you want, and send us your photos of Bridport as you will remember it.
