We re-opened on 27 May 2017 after a major redevelopment, and we would love to see you!

The Museum has been redeveloped to create exciting, modern and interactive displays.

Our Museum is right in the heart of Bridport, a historic rope and net making town.

We invite you to explore our new’ Museum based in one of Bridport’s oldest buildings!

Opening Times

Please note: The Museum is closed for vital maintenance work on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 June. The ground floor only will be open on Wednesday 27 June.

Accessible for all

There is full access to galleries and we have a wide range of services for disabled visitors.

Assistance dogs are welcome at the museum. Our staff will be happy to provide drinking water for your dog.
