Bridport Museum Extends Winter Opening Hours

Bridport Museum is extending its winter opening hours and staying open until Christmas Eve, following popular demand. The museum will remain open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm, all the way up to Christmas for anyone looking for last-minute stocking fillers.

Visitors can enjoy a relaxed browse through the museum’s galleries and shop, which is full of unique, handcrafted gifts made by local makers. From colourful ropework creations to heritage-inspired souvenirs, there’s something special for every age and budget.

New products in the museum include the Quirky Bridport Calendar, following on from the success of the Quirky Bridport book and a new publication Railway Memories: All Aboard the Bridport Line.

The extended hours mean there’s even more time to explore Bridport’s fascinating history, pick up thoughtful presents, and enjoy a welcoming space in the heart of the town before the festive break.
