Bridport Museum & our Museum Shop are open Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm
All of our permanent galleries and current temporary exhibitions will be open for you to enjoy.
Our brilliant ‘Captain Codd’ Adventure Trail will be free for all children to enjoy around the Museum.
We have some great children’s activities during school holidays.

Yes we have a lovely Museum Shop!
There are lots of interesting and quirky products to browse, including unique items handcrafted by our Museum Makers.
All purchases support our work as a charity.
Entry to the shop is free and does not require an admission ticket – come and have a browse!

Cleaning will take place regularly so please expect brief periods of closure.
Public toilets are also available nearby in the South Street carpark.

Yes! Our Ropemakers will usually be running demonstrations throughout the week.
Our ropemaking demonstrations do depend on volunteer availability, so if you are are planning a visit specifically for this, we recommend contacting us in advance on 01308 458703 or office@bridportmuseum.co.uk
