How much is entry to Bridport Museum?

  • Adults: £5 (includes unlimited entry for a year)
  • Under 21s, Carers and School Visits: Free

Donations are always extremely welcome.

What are your Opening Hours?

Bridport Museum & our Museum Shop are open Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm

What will be open?

All of our permanent galleries and current temporary exhibitions will be open for you to enjoy.

What do you have for families?

Our brilliant ‘Captain Codd’ Adventure Trail will be free for all children to enjoy around the Museum.

We have some great children’s activities during school holidays.

Is there a Museum Shop?

Yes we have a lovely Museum Shop!

There are lots of interesting and quirky products to browse, including unique items handcrafted by our Museum Makers.

All purchases support our work as a charity.

Entry to the shop is free and does not require an admission ticket – come and have a browse!

Do you have toilets?

We have a fully accessible toilet.

Cleaning will take place regularly so please expect brief periods of closure.

Public toilets are also available nearby in the South Street carpark.

Do I need to book in advance?

No need to book – but please see below regarding our ropemaking demonstrations.

Can I watch a Ropemaking Demonstration?

Yes! Our Ropemakers will usually be running demonstrations throughout the week.

Our ropemaking demonstrations do depend on volunteer availability, so if you are are planning a visit specifically for this, we recommend contacting us in advance on 01308 458703 or office@bridportmuseum.co.uk

Bridport Museum is a registered charity and we survive through the support of our amazing volunteers and local community.
