Mountjoy school students get a taste of curating at Bridport Museum
Museum Takeover Day: Friday 21 November
As part of Kids in Museums Takeover Day 2025, students from Mountjoy School will become curators for a day at Bridport Museum. Working with The Bank of Dreams & Nightmares and the museum team, the students will write labels that express what the objects mean to them.
Our young curators, aged 11–16, have been busy creating their own labels for some of our much-loved exhibits, bringing out a few special items from the collection, and exploring the history of Bridport and the local area.
Visit the museum to meet the young curators from 10am to midday or see the new labels anytime after. The last day to see the labels is Tuesday 25 November.
